The grape harvest at Can Picard in Alella is always a truly special day. You experience the joy of handpicking the ripest and healthiest grapes at the peak of their flavor.
The sweet aroma of the grapes fills the air, and the picturesque backdrop of the mountains and the sea creates an idyllic atmosphere.

Last year’s event, though smaller than in 2021 (when we had almost 200 people attend!) was no exception. Several families and friends came bright and early and enjoyed a relaxing 3 or 4 hours amongst the vines and under a blue sky. We then spent the bulk of the day enjoying fresh grape juice, local wine and a great paella.
The children played safely in the football field within eyesight of us parents and lots of people spent the day on the grass — picnic style. Others sat at the huge oak table which he had just finished making the night before!

We harvest over 1500 Kg of beautiful fresh Pancia Blanca grapes and ended up with cose to 1000 litres of must (grape juice) in our fermentation tanks. Then the wine making could truly begin.
It is a great family day and one to remember!
